Angela J. Ratcliffe has been active in Healthcare, Education, and Mental Health Services for more than 20 years, focusing primarily on Mental Health, Addictions, and Housing for homeless and underserved populations. Her passion became apparent when she became the victim of homelessness as a teenager. Her mission in life is to help those less fortunate, and her motto is “In order to keep a blessing, you must give it away.” Her accomplishments include opening ‘New Destinies’ in 2004, a non-profit transitional sober living house for homeless, mentally ill men and women substance abusers. She then opened and incorporated the outpatient medical and Behavioral Health Clinic, K.A.M Alliance, Inc’, in 2006. She is currently the 100% owner and operator of K.A.M Alliance, where she serves as the Healthcare Administrator, President, and Chief Executive Officer.
Angela is an Illinois-licensed addictions Counselor, Mental Health Counselor, and a State of Illinois-licensed ‘Substance Use and Prevention’ (SUPR) Provider with the ‘Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Use Association’. In addition, Angela’s business, K.A.M Alliance, Inc is a licensed and certified member of the State of Illinois Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Federal ‘Women Minority Business Enterprise’ (WMBE), The Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce, and her organization; (K.A.M Alliance, Inc.) has been awarded 3 multi-year contracts from with the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Child Welfare Services, Housing Advocacy Program Services, and Toxicology Testing Laboratory Services programs and other contracted Illinois Department of Healthcare and Human Services Medical Insurance payors. Under Angela’s leadership, K.A.M Alliance has provided services and employment to thousands of disadvantaged children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life. K.A.M Alliance has also been awarded the ‘City Beat News 5-Star’ award for 8 consecutive years for excellence in customer service since 2018.
