Castor Cooper is the powerhouse CEO and operator behind Godspeed Auto Group, a premier 13-center automotive franchise spanning the Carolinas. The family business, founded in 2014 by his father, with Cooper assuming full leadership in 2020, transformed the family legacy into a rapidly scaling automotive enterprise with a strong focus on performance, culture, and operational excellence.

His journey is defined by exceptional resilience. After the tragic loss of his mother, father, and brother in 2020, Cooper stepped into leadership during his darkest hour—turning profound personal adversity into a catalyst for significant professional growth and expansion.

A true “jack-of-all-trades,” Cooper holds elite ASE and Hybrid/EV certifications and is SHRM HR-trained, ensuring he leads his team of over 100 employees with both deep technical expertise and strong people leadership. He works alongside his brother, who serves as his partner and COO, forming a strong leadership team driving the company’s continued success. Beyond his franchises, he serves as Treasurer and Board Member-at-Large of the Meineke Dealers Purchasing Co-op, helping guide financial oversight and vendor strategy for more than 700 locations across North America.

Outside of business, Cooper is a passionate scuba diver and lifelong engine enthusiast. He is also a dedicated family man, sharing life with his wife and their three sons.
