Catalina Medrano is an educational revolutionary dedicated to transforming opportunities for vulnerable student populations through GranVia Educational Consulting. As the daughter of pioneering Mexican-American activists, Catalina was raised with a deep commitment to social justice. With over 23 years of experience from the classroom to principal leadership, she witnessed the systemic gaps that leave immigrant and special needs students underserved. After losing three family members to cancer in her late twenties and facing professional discrimination, Catalina chose to stop fighting the system from within.

In 2020, she launched GranVia Pro to humanize teacher training and certify hundreds of educators across Texas. Today, Catalina’s legacy is defined by "teacher agency" and standing in the gap for marginalized communities, ensuring every child has a voice and a pathway to success.
