Daniel Forcier was born on June 3, 1976. He grew up in Chelmsford, a town 40 minutes west of Boston, MA. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture at Northeastern University, ten years apart. He has worked with his father for most of his adult life. They have worked on projects together since he was a kid, and he helped him start their family's real estate business 30 years ago. He is very fortunate to still be a part of that business, which is now led by his sister, Sandy.
Daniel has been an artist, architect, and creator his whole life. His art includes stained glass, epoxy, mosaics and acrylic textured paintings. He has been commissioned for art pieces, but he considers his art more like architectural details. As an architect, he redesigns existing structures, mostly multi-families in Massachusetts. His specialty is adaptive reuse projects. His goal as an architect is to preserve history, but also to update and modernize beautiful buildings from the past.
His latest project has been writing his life story in a book titled “You are Only as Sick as your Secrets.” This book has been his most difficult project to date, but also the most satisfying. He feels as if he is getting an opportunity to start his life over and is looking forward to any and all opportunities moving forward.
