ABOUT

Ethan Dunbar

Ethan N. Dunbar is a lifelong public servant, proven leader, and proud son of Lewisville, Arkansas. Born in Chicago and raised in Lewisville, Ethan dedicated 33 years, 10 months, and 26 days to the United States Army, retiring in 2015 as a decorated Command Sergeant Major. His decades of honorable service instilled in him the values of discipline, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to the people he serves. Upon returning home, Ethan turned his focus to revitalizing his community. In 2018, he was elected Mayor of Lewisville, and in 2022, the people re-elected him for a second term. As mayor, Ethan has worked to improve infrastructure, expand housing opportunities, and restore civic pride in his hometown.

Beyond City Hall, Ethan actively supports Arkansas communities. As a member of the Democratic Party of Arkansas (DPA), Ethan serves on the Executive Committee, representing the 4th Congressional District, and is the 1st Vice President of the Democratic Party of Lafayette County. He is also a founding member of the Lafayette County Leadership Council, a nonprofit dedicated to community service and improving residents' quality of life. His civic engagement also includes service in Lions Club International as the Past District Governor for Arkansas Lions District 7L, as Past President of the Stamps Rotary Club, as an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and as a 33° Mason of the Masonic Order. Ethan’s dedication to service is backed by a strong academic background. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master of Science in Management/Public Relations from the University of Maryland University College, and he later completed a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies at the University of Central Arkansas. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Above all, Ethan is a man of faith, guided by a divinely called mission to pursue justice and equality while living as a faithful Christian. Ethan is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife are proud parents of a blended family of five children. They are deeply rooted in the values of faith, service, and community. He is running for the U.S. Senate to promote servant leadership, accountability, and to restore civility to our political process, putting people first in politics. His goal is clear: to serve his community as an extension of his faith.
