Gregory Peters, Ed.D. is a transformational leader, educator, and advocate for educational equity and community impact. Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, he grew up in a close, multi-generational community that shaped his understanding of belonging, responsibility, and social justice. Coming from a working-poor background and navigating personal and social challenges early in life strengthened his commitment to creating opportunities for underserved youth and reimagining systems that support true equity. These experiences shaped his belief that meaningful change requires both accountability and human connection.

Gregory began his professional career as a social worker, later transitioning into education and school leadership, where he challenged traditional teaching models by embracing project-based and inquiry-driven learning. As the founder and leader of SF-CESS, he has worked to advance equity-focused coaching, training, and organizational transformation. Today, he continues expanding his mission into nonprofit, educational, and corporate spaces, helping leaders build sustainable, purpose-driven systems that create lasting social impact.
