Mirela Sabanagic is a Director of Education and Marketing, entrepreneur, and humanitarian whose life story is defined by turning systemic adversity into a platform for impact. Born in a concentration camp during the Yugoslavian War, Mirela arrived in the United States as a refugee with only a few dollars to her family's name. This early instability—attending twelve different grade schools—forged an ironclad resilience that would later define her professional career. After overcoming a rare ovarian cancer diagnosis as a teenager and defying medical odds to become a mother, Mirela has dedicated her life to proving that a leader is defined not by their beginning, but by their grit.
Currently, Mirela leads initiatives in the beauty and business sectors. In her role as Director of Education and Marketing at Beauty Craft, she champions professional development and growth for stylists across the country. Simultaneously, she is the founder of Signature Moda, a professional events company that merges high-level networking with philanthropy. From her work providing scholarships to her missions supporting her homeland, Mirela’s legacy is built on the belief that knowledge is the only power that can never be taken away.
