Stephen R. Hotz is the Founder and CEO of LED Energy Solutions (LEDES), a global energy infrastructure platform redefining how large-scale facilities achieve zero net energy—without upfront capital. With a background in operations and a deep understanding of how organizations assess cost, risk, and infrastructure, Steve identified a critical gap: while transformative energy technologies existed, the financial models enabling adoption had not kept pace. He built LEDES to remove those barriers and make progress more accessible, aligned, and scalable.

Today, LEDES partners with municipalities, healthcare systems, utilities, and commercial enterprises to deliver integrated solutions, including advanced LED lighting, intelligent controls, HVAC optimization, solar, geothermal, wind energy, and EV infrastructure.
