Thud Hill is the brother of Timothy Hill, who tragically passed away in 1972. Following Timothy's dream of providing a ranch for children in crisis and those experiencing homelessness, his parents, Jerry and Fern Hill, established Timothy Hill Ranch as a place where young people could find safety, love, and the freedom of wide-open spaces.
For the past 36 years, Thud Hill has dedicated his career to carrying on that vision. Under his leadership, Timothy Hill Ranch has grown from a single location in Riverhead, Long Island, New York, to nine locations serving youth across six states. Now celebrating its 50th year of operation, Timothy Hill Ranch is well-positioned to continue its mission of serving young people from across the country for the next 50 years and beyond.
